Southern Immediate Care will call and connect with you to start your visit during your scheduled appointment time.
TeleMed is an online service available to you that allows our doctor to safely and effectively evaluate our patients from the comfort and safety of their own homes. This will enable patients who are uncomfortable or unable to leave their homes to obtain quality medical care online.

- An email will be sent to you for your online appointment time.
- Follow the directions to connect directly with the doctor via Zoom Video Conferencing at your scheduled time.
Yes! As long as you have internet access, you can use the sound and camera from your cell phone to conduct a telemed visit safely and securely from your home.
We are able to confirm that Blue Cross Blue Shield does cover TeleMed visits with our doctor. If you are unsure about your coverage, please check with your insurance provider or call our office to determine eligibility.
TeleMed visits are available for just $50.00.
If you are evaluated during a telemed visit and the doctor refers you to one of our Southern Immediate Care locations, you will not be charged for the telemed visit Your standard co-pay will apply at the time of your in-person visit to our clinic.
Yes! Should the doctor determine that COVID-19 testing is necessary, you will be referred to one of the Southern Immediate Care clinics where we will be able to safely administer the test for you.
The current turn around time for COVID-19 averages 24-48 hours, though sometimes up to 72 hours. This can be dependent on testing times and the labs processing capacity, so please know that the results will not be immediate.
